Coach Handbags: Make It Yours with Customization and Reversibility!

!: Coach Handbags: Make It Yours with Customization and Reversibility!

We've all fallen in love with Coach's sophisticated style, all the way from its facing "C's" to the beautiful jaquard material. The beauty of Coach handbags and accessories are timeless, versatile and understated. As if this weren't enough, Coach has created a way to make that favorite Coach purse truly yours: Get it monogrammed!
The Signature Stripe Collection - Tote Bag

It gets better - not only can your new Signature Stripe Collection tote be monogrammed on the strip, it is also reversible. It's almost like having two handbags for the price of one. While one side features the signature stripe with your initials on it, the other side leaves out the stripe and presents a pocketed outer design.

The signature tote is a favorite among favorites. Truly versatile and classic in its design, the signature stripe tote is available in different sizes with the option to monogram and reverse! The reversible side is just as beautiful as the stripe side with a fashionable pocket with Coach's emblem along the front.

The stripe on these new Coach bags is beautiful on its own. If you'd rather not show off your monogram, you can skip the initials and still enjoy the stripe design. Or, you can get it monogrammed and reverse it when you're ready for a newer look.

Other Signature Stripe Collection Handbags

Many signature style Coach handbags are included in this collection. Starting with the cute styling of the Demi, small and sharp: The Demi purse has an exaggerated stripe over the classic Coach design. The straps are removable so that you can use it as a clutch purse or wristlet.

The pouch purse is also available in signature stripe. Rounded and beautifully shaped, the Coach pouch looks great with almost anything. The swing pack handbag is next on the list, a truly fun design that can be worn over one shoulder or across the chest. In addition, luggage items, cosmetic bags and the camera bag are also included in the signature stripe to match your new Coach signature stripe purse.

To add to your accessories, the wristlet, zip coin purse and wallet in signature stripe will look great in your Coach handbag. The best part about the signature stripe collection by Coach is that it will match with your other Coach products. Because signature stripe purses and accessories are available in almost every color, it'll be easy to match and accessorize.

Priced fairly, as are most other Coach purses and wallets, you can enjoy the new Signature Stripe collect purse for as little as 0!

"It" Bag Designer Handbag A Thing Of The Past - Designer Purse Purchase Based On Specific Criteria

!: "It" Bag Designer Handbag A Thing Of The Past - Designer Purse Purchase Based On Specific Criteria

Let's keep it real. When it comes to shopping, bargain hunting for your next designer purse is the name of the game. We all love to own purses. Our closets are full of all sorts of Designer Names like Fendi, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Christian Dior, Prada and Chanel. We even have some older Coach, Cole Haan and Dooney & Bourke lurking in our collection. Nonetheless, when it comes to making the final decision, we base the purchase on realistic factors, not whether or not we can refinance our home to own a new designer purse.

Here's what the average shopper looks for when making a designer purse purchase: price, authenticity, style, color, design, functionality, craftmanship, versatility, availability, mood, impulse and status. The topics listed below are not arranged in order of importance or priority. They are just factors which come into play when a person gets ready to purchase a new designer purse.

PRICE.

In 2004, the average price tag of a high-end designer bag sitting on the shelves at Neiman Marcus or Saks Fifth Avenue was around 00. Today, according to a Designer Handbag Sales Person at Neimans in Beverly Hills, the average ticket price has risen. As a matter of fact, there's nothing on the shelves today with a price tag less than about 00. That will make the average cost hit around 00 - 00 each or more! Wow! We need resources for discount authentic designer handbags.

Online shopping seems to be the best way to find what you want fast with ease and convenience. There are search engines like Google.com where a shopper can enter the search terms "designer handbags" or "designer purses" and receive a list of potential ecommerce sites for making an educated, cost-effective purchase.

An unlimited list of websites selling discounted brands have surfaced over the past several years like Overstock, eFashionHouse.com, Smart Bargains, and others. Sticking to sites like these with longevity is probably a bargain hunters best bet. These sites have been online for over ten years and are considered Internet Pioneers.

If price doesn't matter, eLuxury sells many of the name brands at full retail prices. As does Neimans and Saks. And, there are sales to hit frequently throughout the year, but most of the time the full-retail sites' prices are still out of reach for the average shopper.

We contacted some of the discount websites about price points. EFashionHouse.com's average sale is about 0-0, and the majority of discount shoppers spend around 0 - 0 for their everyday handbag.

Price points rise to the occasion, and when it comes to special events or certain brands even bargain hunters will pay a little more for brands like Chanel or Hermes. This includes some of the high-end Chloe or Chanel bags that range in an off retail price of about 0 to 00 each. Keep in mind, full retail for the same items range from about 00 to 00 each. Chanel jewelry items sporting the iconic CC logo are also collector items. The jewelry items become part of the owner's collection and are handed down through the generations just like the famous designer handbags.

AUTHENTICITY.

Some people say the authenticity of a designer item doesn't matter, but it really does matter. I'd bet 99% of the people who own a fake designer purse would say it doesn't matter. In my opinion, 1% are being honest and the other 99% are telling a lie.

It also makes sense to assume in most instances, the person who purchases a fake designer item doesn't know it's fake until well after the purchase is made, if ever. Maybe the shopper does not know where to purchase authentic items at an affordable price. Or, thinks they can't afford to buy a real designer item.

If all you're looking for is something to carry your stuff, then authenticity doesn't matter. If you are a true designer handbag appreciator, then it matters big time.

Anyone who owns a fake bag knows it's a fake. So, what does that say about the person? Are they living a lie? Is their life a fake? Isn't how we show up in life a statement of what we are about? We are what we eat. So, if we carry a fake designer handbag, then we must be a fake.

Counterfeiting is illegal. It defacing the image of the real designer, and most designers spend their entire career building their credibility and image. It's not politically correct to deface the logo of a designer without the designer's permission. Besides, fake designer products are made poorly and won't last past one season's wear.

Authenticity matters to the person who is looking for longevity, durability and integrity. Carrying an authentic bag makes a person feel a sense of esteem especially if the person saved their hard earned cash to buy it. Knowing it's real and it was a small investment adds to the reassurance of value and values.

STYLE.

Just like the assortment of jelly beans at JellyBelly.com are the style of designer handbags. There are shoulder bags, clutch bags, tote bags, wristlets, hobos, satchels, doctor bags, brief case bags, backpacks, everyday bags, dressy bags, sling bags, body bags, man bags, leather bags, monogram bags, studded bags, metallic bags, messenger bag, school bag, book bag, patent bags, evening bags, beaded bags, vegan bags, cloth bags, vinyl bags, etc. The list is endless and dynamic.

Style predicts functionality, construction and versatility. The majority of handbag users (there are women who do not carry a purse) own a variety of styles because a different purse is needed for every occasion. The average person's designer purse collection consists of several basic styles like a shoulder bag, clutch bag, tote bag, satchel and dressy evening bag. The majority of people have several of each style. Why? Because they want to!

Shoulder bags are the most popular style of all. The shoulder bag has a strap conveniently long enough to carry over the shoulder with comfort and ease keeping both hands free (i.e., for shopping and clapping when a perfectly priced designer purse is found). Many shoulder straps are adjustable creating a different style for different needs. Usually, an adjustable shoulder strap can be carried on the shoulder, made longer to carry across the body as a messenger bag or made short enough to carry snugly under the arm.

Many styles are named due to familiarity like the satchel styled doctor bag or the baguette named after a loaf of baguette Italian or French bread. In Europe, a fresh loaf of Italian or French bread is carried home from the bakery snuggly under the arm and close to the body. Hence, the famous baguette style handbag was born. Some say the baguette is a style of the past, yet it's a style that will live on for handbags like Elvis lives on for rock and roll.

COLOR.

Need we discuss the purpose of color? The seasons predict the handbag colors as do the designers. The design houses meet regularly to set trends and share color pallets. That's why we see the new black each season.

Anyone who knows anything about fashion understands the importance of and owns a little black dress. The same holds true for a designer handbag. Black is the staple color and everything else is for enhancement, mood and pleasure.

In 2007, we can carry any color any time of the year to any type of event we desire. The rules have changed. We think and do what we want. Some follow no rules at all. The more conservatives stick to the basics, and the edgy fashion freaks pull off a lime green pebble grain Hermes bag with comfort and ease.

Matching shoes and bags is a thing of the past, too. The true fashionista doesn't match because it's boring. The striking eye catching habit of a fashion guru is sporting one glorious high end designer accessory to pull the entire outfit together.

We spend under a hundred bucks for our jeans keeping the color neutral making the background work nicely with an outrageously funky colored or multi colored designer purse.

Oh yeah, color plays a roll regardless of one's conservability level. Even the more conservative dresser will pull it all together with a staple like a black or brown Prada bag.

DESIGN.

Design and style are somewhat synonymous. However, design falls more closely within the areas of size and functionality creating a unique designer look with versatility and appeal.

All the talk about size doesn't matter is not true when it comes to a new purse. Size does matter. The bigger the better for some, and small, petite for others. The design of a large bag will affect the price tag when it's a high end designer purse. So, if you are making your first designer handbag purchase and want to start out slowly, buy a smaller bag.

Most of the designers use functionality as criteria when designing a bag. Pockets are inside and outside the bag. Today, cell phone and iPod pockets are an added attraction. External zip pockets change the design, look and feel of a bag as do studs which create a unique design.

A variety of factors go into the design of a purse especially its fabrication. You will be pleased with a hand crafted bag. That's why we encourage shoppers to buy authentic items and stay away from the Made in China labels. The differences are obvious when inspecting the stitching, leather quality, hardware and linings. Even top designer Stella McCartney who never uses any animal products in her handbags uses top quality fabrics and expert craftsmanship. The non leather, pricey, vinyl, McCartney totes cost thousands of dollars!

FUNCTIONALITY.

Without sounding redundant, a touch on function is important when making a handbag purchase. School bags serve a specific purpose as do evening bags. So, it's wise to select your designer handbag based on how you plan to use it.

Call me silly, but I wear a Gucci belt bag when I walk. Sorry, I admit I'm a brand horror. Functionality plays an important role for a purse. When shopping, it's smart to carry a bag to keep your hands free. For evening or dress up, carry a small clutch bag because all you'll need is keys, a credit card and a condom!

CRAFTMANSHIP.

Whenever you get a chance, pick up a Hermes bag and inspect it carefully. Hermes equates craftsmanship and are the leaders of pack. They are tradition and quality. Once you've had Hermes it's hard to go back. If you don't understand that statement, then you haven't owned a Hermes.

Yet, we can't all afford to carry a Hermes or save our money to buy one because most of the Hermes purses cost more than the blue book value of the cars we drive. The Hermes leather bags range in price from 00 to ,000.

However, we can save our money for other well crafted designer merchandise by famous people like Miuccia Prada, Maria Silvia Venturini Fendi, Louis Vuitton, CoCo Chanel, Bottega Veneta and Marc Jacobs. Of news lately is the announcement made by Chanel Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld who has signed a deal with Accessory Network Group to produce his own line of leather handbags. They are scheduled to hit the shelves in 2008.

VERSATILITY.

Although versatility is a factor in making a designer purse purchase, the role it plays is probably not as important as you may think. Probably the most versatile factoring thought crossing our mind at the time of purchase is this, "Can I carry this bag when wearing blue jeans, a T-shirt and flip flops?"

All kidding aside, when we think of versatility we apply the 80/20 rule. Eighty percent of the time we'll be using this bag everyday for work, school or play. Whereas, twenty percent of the time, we will not!

Versatility of a new purse applies to our everyday lifestyle. We can relate to the object as "my bag, my look, it's me." And, if putting out a hefty dollar amount, you'll want to make certain it's something you'll want to keep around for a long time.

AVAILABILITY.

I hear women talk about spending the day shopping and not finding anything. That doesn't happen to me. I may spend time surfing the net looking for bargains and not buying a lot of stuff, but spending the day at the mall and coming home empty handed doesn't happen to me.

It's true, supply and demand play an important role in availability of a new designer purse. But more importantly is the money you have available to spend for it, who you are and who you know. A good example is the Hermes Birkin and Kelly Bags. They are rare finds. Yet, every celebrity owns them. And, most people who shop Hermes regularly can get most anything they want.

Currently, Bottega Veneta woven leathers are difficult to source at discount prices. They rarely go on sale, and the supply is not as available as it was in the past. Maybe the value of the Euro has caused this phenomenon to occur. Almost all of the high end designer handbags made in Europe have steadily increased in priced and decreased in availability since the Euro hit the market.

MOOD.

Don't laugh. I'm in my late 50's and just recently purchased my first Louis Vuitton bag. I finally found a couple of styles I like, so I made the leap. I own Hermes Birkin and Kelly bags, and because I'm a minimalist, my favorites are simple totes by Goyard or Chloe. But the mood hit me one day and during my evening ritual shopping online I picked up two Louis Vuittons on eLuxury, and love them both.

Does mood affect your purchase? Oh, yes absolutely. Some even equate shopping for a new purse therapeutic and much more worthy of one's hard earned dollars than paying a therapist's hourly rate.

IMPULSE.

Whether impulse is a true factor in making a designer handbag purchase is unknown, but most of us have experienced an impulse buy. There's really not much good when a purchase is made from impulse. It's mentioned only because some of us make impulse purchases and regret it later. An impulse purchase is probably done for all the wrong reasons, and sometimes guilt or remorse follow. When that happens you may have a serious shopping problem.

If shopping is causing a problem in your life, visit ShopaholicsAnonymous.org.

STATUS.

The role of status and designer handbags is more important to some than to others. Just like driving a Mercedes vs. a Volkswagen is important when it comes to cars, carrying a Hermes vs. a Kenneth Cole leather handbag can be important for the person making a purse purchase.

Nonetheless, it only goes to reason the higher the price tag the greater status, the bigger the ego the bigger designer name, and rubbing elbows with Bill Gates at a party Saturday night vs. coffee with the church pastor Sunday morning all play a role in factoring in status for your next handbag purchase.

While trying to keep up with the Jones' is not your style, maybe owning a status symbol as an investment is. Some of the designer handbags purchased years ago sell today for hundreds if not, thousands of dollars more today than their purchase prices.

So, status may not be your intention, but when digging through Grandma's closet reveals a 1950's Hermes Kelly Bag you'll definitely feel like a million bucks!

Hublot Big Bang: An Unparalleled Collection

!: Hublot Big Bang: An Unparalleled Collection

From its captivating roots in the 1980's, all the way to the present day, Hublot watches have been known to make watch lovers swoon over its luxurious designs with innovative sophistication. With its tradition in arm, the Hublot name has continually defied normal expectations that come in the form of timepieces.

Drenched in both eloquence and stature, you will find Hublot's Big Bang collection especially appetizing. It's styled in a fusion of elements that combines different materials and metals with other more precious metals that also give it a distinguishing look that can captivate both men and women alike. Hublot Big Bang, a watch collection like no other, is designed with the intention of keeping the brand a timeless classic, in a world of limited time. You can gain prestige and bestow opulence with their innately beautiful watches on your wrist

Since 2005, the Hublot Big Bang watches have thrilled the adoring public and satisfied the thirsty appetites of critics worldwide. And that same fervor continues to this day. Currently, Hublot Big Bang collection has over 150 pieces in its midst. From shiny, thinner pieces for the distinguished woman, to the larger, more bodacious watches that are built more fit for the leading character in a James Bond film.

BEHIND THE HUBLOT BIG BANG:SHORT HISTORY OF THE ART OF FUSION

Immersed in their undying commitment to creativity, came the campaign known as, "The Art of Fusion". This daring and dynamic campaign brought to life a blend of seemingly unrelated materials to create a fashion forward collection of time pieces, that still resonate with the public today as it did when it unveiled in the middle of the last decade. Combining elements such as ceramic and gold, rose gold and natural rubber and other semi-precious stones with precious ones, they've built a reputable line of watches from the ground up.

Since emerging out of the shadows of other prestige watchmaking brands in the 90's the Hublot Big Bang line has engineered and directed this once small, family owned brand into a monumental behemoth of a company. Here is a short list of some of Hublot Big Bang's most innovative and famous timepieces.

HUBLOT BIG BANG: ALL BLACK II

Looked at as the "new" masterpiece of their All Black collection, this incredibly designed masterpiece is dubbed as a watch that has "completely invisible visibility". In another one of its world's first, this articulated wristlet is wrought from black ceramic and micro-blasted for a uniformly matt finish. The watch is considered more intimate with its ability to conceal time from other's view, where all that can be seen is black. The case is 44.5 mm in sandblasted black ceramic with bezel that has 6 H-shaped steel black PVD screws that are sunken, polished and blocked.

HUBLOT BIG BANG GOLD

The evolution of this watch is intertwined with the evolution of the brand, with its vertical satin finish like finished case and bezel, that stands out so elegantly around the sober matt black dial with no numerals. The Big Bang is 44.5 mm (case) in 5N red gold, it has sapphire crystal with interior and anti-reflective treatment and the Bezel lug and lateral inserts are both black composite resin.

HUBLOT BIG BANG TUTTI FRUTTI ROSE

This pieces features fine mother of pearl that gives the woman that wears it a particular feel of elegance. It;s emphasized with its satin-finished case surrounded by pink sapphires, and the alligator bracelet. Its 41mm case is in polished steel, the bezel has 48 baguette-cut pink sapphires with 6 H-shaped sunken polished and blocked titanium screws.

BIG BANG KING BLACK MAGIC

Steeped in both elegance and simplicity, this dynamic watch features a rotating bezel in black ceramic, a carbon dial with a black rubber strap. Perfect for the journeyman that likes luxury and mobility. It comes with HUB 1400 Self-winding movement and 48 mm in size.

HUBLOT BIG BANG EARL GRAY

Although considered one of the simpler ones in design from a distance, it's a very fascinating piece when observed from a closer standpoint. This beautifully crafted piece consists of a steel case and bezel with a dial that is tantalum. The movement is HUB 4100 self-winding chronograph and the strap is made out of natural grey rubber and gummy alligator.

HUBLOT BIG BANG CONTINUES IT'S WORLDWIDE ENTRENCHMENT CAMPAIGN

Hublot continues to soar in its clever appearances as a brand, most recently becoming the official Timekeeper of the 2011 Alpine World Ski Championships in Garmisch, Partenkirchen. They've also signed top skier Maria Riesh, the darling of Garmisch and currently the number 1 skier in World Cup classification. A white Aero Bang Garmisch will be unveiled during a special evening event to mark the occasion.

Also, more recently, FIFA recently announced that it will offer a Hublot watch to the winners of the FIFA Ballon D'Or. And Jose Mourinho, was also awarded FIFA Coach of the Year, was presented with a Hublot watch by FIFA Secretary General Jerome Valcke.

Hublot also participated in a charity event with the Miami Heat in January of this year. During the auction, a Hublot King Power Unico was given by CEO Jean-Claude Biver and went for 0,000, helping the Heat raise over .2 million for local charities. The event was celebrated at Pat Riley's home that included the power trio of Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and Lebron James. The celebrity filled crowd also included Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz.

HUBLOT BIG BANG: A BRAND OF THE FUTURE

Hublot's foray into the world as a whole is much like its entrance into the world of watchmaking, breathtaking and scintillating. Expect to see the Hublot brand in the future burgeoning with its everlasting style and appeal for the masses.

Given its commitment to excellence, Hublot will continue to lead the 21st century watchmakers into a class of innovation and luxury.

Make Room For the Wristlet

!: Make Room For the Wristlet

I have never been one of those women who own a different handbag to go with every outfit. I usually find one purse that has the versatility to go with my blue jeans as well as my limited evening-wear. However, one night while doing a little internet shopping, I decided it was time to replace the purse I had been carrying for over a year and went in search of secure websites that sell handbags...

I was blown over by the amount of choices I had! I found designer bags by Vera Bradley, Marc Jacobs, Dooney and Bourke and Juicy Couture, to name just a few, as well as cheap bags from Target and other super stores. I knew it would be nearly impossible to choose just one bag from so many, so I decided to start small and work my way up. I was more of a tote or hobo bag kind of girl, but the smaller clutch bags caught my eye as an alternative to carrying a large bag. However, with a clutch I was afraid that I would set it down somewhere and lose it. That's when I saw it and knew that I had to make room for the wristlet.

Wristlets are small clutch bags that have a strap that goes around the wrist, which is usually removable. They can be considered a purse or a wallet and can be found in leather, straw, linen, suede and wool. Some of my favorites are the Metal Check Groovee Bag or the Small Classic Q by Marc Jacobs. Coach has the Celeste fold over and the straw wristlet seen in the Hamptons Archive along with the White Coach, which is timeless.

There are many more designer bags that left me breathless and wanting for more, but these are also quite expensive purses. You can also find many sites that sell designer replicas and that frequently run sales on their merchandise if the designer bags are too costly.

Not wanting to put all my eggs in one basket, I decided on a Marc Jacobs Classic Q at 20% off and even had enough money to spare so that I could splurge on a coin purse to match. I was pretty proud of my shopping expedition and plan to return time and again so that I can keep up on the styles and watch for sales that I just can't pass up.

Online shopping has introduced me to a world of convenience that just can't be beat. I don't have to circle the parking lot for an hour just to go into a store where I am fighting the crowds and walking until my legs ache. Instead, I can sit down with my glass of iced tea, lean back and enjoy the display that I have chosen. It just doesn't get much better than this, other than actually finding your perfect handbag and knowing there is no one who will snatch out from under you from across the aisle! While waiting for my wristlet clutch to arrive, I am sure I will find many more perfect bags and who knows? Maybe I will become one of those women who have a handbag for every occasion!

The Power Within You

!: The Power Within You

If change is inevitable and growth is optional, I wish someone had told me that in school before I embarked on Real Life 101. I did not go to an institute of higher learning filled with entrepreneurial studies, nor was I born with a silver spoon in my mouth nor an MBA in my briefCase. I achieved my nine successful entrepreneurial careers through something they never taught me in school - "Obstacles are what you see when you take your eyes off your goal."

At 29, my husband was killed in a car accident. My two-year-old son and I were left with a mortgage, very little insurance, many bills and no career to fall back on other than my skills as a high-school gym teacher and former professional dancer. With the love and support of others I developed two of my earliest careers and learned some valuable lessons: build on your interest, talents and abilities. Do what you love and success and money will follow.

1. Develop a positive attitude. "The greatest discovery in our generation is that human beings, by changing the inner attitudes of their minds, can change the outer aspects of their lives." Develop an optimistic outlook on life through self-affirmations and visualization techniques. Live in the moment and stop fretting about a past you cannot change or a future in which you have no control. Look at every difficulty as an opportunity, seize the moment, and be thankful for every minute of "nowness." Happiness is an inside job. Zig Ziglar, the famous motivational Speaker, said, "It's your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude."

2. Take action. Winners make things happen, and losers find that the greatest labor-saving device ever invented is "tomorrow." Develop an action-oriented mentality, and you'll always be one step ahead of the crowd.

3. Look for the benefit. Like the age-old story of a little boy who walked into a room filled with manure and exclaimed, "There's got to be a pony in here somewhere!" - learn to look far below the surface by turning obstacles into challenges. The quest for excellence is a life-long process and begins by finding a benefit in the most challenging of situations.

4. Admit your mistakes. By admitting your mistakes you raise your level of integrity and other people's perception of your honesty. You become real, human, vulnerable; and magically, others relate to you more and open the channels of communication through a certain comfortability factor. There may be cultural, ethnic and geographical differences in people but the common thread is the human element.

5. Turn your weaknesses into strengths. Franklin Delano Roosevelt served as President of the United States from a wheelchair. Beethoven composed his greatest symphony when he was deaf. Take an honest look at your weaknesses. Give yourself a mental workout and develop your mental muscles by analyzing your weaknesses and maximizing them into strengths.

6. Your network is important to your net-worth. Networking is the contact sport of the '90s. Never mind the old connotation ... learn how to work a room. Meet as many people as you can. Network on trains, planes, stores, hotels, schools, work - there are networking opportunities everywhere. Networking takes tenacity. Your efforts of today are the payoffs of tomorrow.

7. Get self-ish. Develop your self-esteem, self-discipline, self-control. Each little accomplishment adds to your own self-worth. They become stepping stones to build upon. Take time for yourself by believing that you deserve it.

8. Toot your own horn. Create a catchy title for your business. Some of mine included: "The Happy Cooker," a gourmet catering service; "Sea-ducktive Adventures," a cruise-placement agency; "A Dance Class," a dance studio. Always carry a camera with you and be prepared to "take action." Ask for a photo of you and a celebrity; then "look for the benefit" and send the press release to your local paper, creating a promotional tool for you and your business.

9. Risk = Reward. There are no accidents. You create your own reality. On my TV show, "Spotlight on Entrepreneurs," all the people I interviewed shared that common bond - they took risks. I'm not advocating impulsive behavior; I'm suggesting premeditated risks, approved of by your gut, your instincts, your intuition - an entrepreneur's best friend. Treat life as an adventure, and go for it!

10. Become a goal-getter, not just a goal-setter. When I sold my last business, I didn't know what was going to be my next career. I had my objectives on one list; the other listed past careers, skills, talents, and hobbies. I kept studying the lists, comparing them until I got an "Aha!" Then I began the necessary steps to achieve it by going back to school and joining the trade association. As a full-time professional Speaker I have fulfilled all my objectives. I wanted to travel, interact with people and impact lives, be involved in a glamorous career and did not want a financial glass ceiling. It took three tries: First, the hospitality industry - not quite right. Then the meeting-planning industry - close, but no cigar. Aha, the speaking industry! Write down your goals. If they're not written down, they're not goals - they're just dreams. Goals are dreams with deadlines.

11. Develop your entrepreneurial quotient. Research of successful entrepreneurs reveals similar characteristics: motivations, personality traits, family backgrounds, childhood experiences, behavioral patterns, values, and beliefs. Study the successful entrepreneurs by reading about them, networking with them, choosing them for role models and mentors. Create your own destiny.

12. Cultivate your creativity. When I was asked to present for my professional organization, the National Speaker's Association, I took a risk and presented a topic no one had ever done, and I chose a title that I was told would not work. I taught them how to develop their creative instincts by looking at everyday objects to impact a point in their presentations. I introduced the "fun-damentals." Entrepreneurs need to continually create; that's what makes us special.

Why are all these concepts so important? Why are they the success skills of the entrepreneur? Because I believe that only half of one's success can be attributed to business plans, marketing plans, and bottom lines. The other significant half are the personal-growth concepts, the true life-blood of the successful entrepreneur.

Some people quote historians, luminaries or poets. Let me share the most profound quote from a song by Whitney Houston:
"I decided long ago,
Never to walk in anyone's shadow.
If I fail or if I succeed,
At least I've lived as I believe.
Because no matter what they take from me,
They can't take away my dignity.
I found the greatest love of all happening to me.
And I found the greatest love of all deep inside of me."

Personal Presentation at Interview

!: Personal Presentation at Interview

You got the interview; I knew you would! So time to start making your preparations. First things first. What are you going to wear and how are you going to look? Someone once told me that there is no such thing as over dressed; just better dressed. Never has this been so true as when you are attending an interview. A suit is always the answer no matter how the employees dress for their regular work day. When you are an employee you too can dress like them. In the meantime you are making a good first impression for which you have one chance and one chance only. You want to make it count.

The obvious things are to get your suit dry-cleaned. Polish your shoes and tidy and polish your briefCase or handbag. Make sure your shirt and tie, or your blouse, are clean and ironed. Less obviously make sure your hair is clean and tidy; if you are due for a cut go and have one as part of your interview preparation. Give yourself a manicure and if you do paint your nails then clear or neutral polish only (this way if you do get a chip on route to your meeting it isn't going to stand out like the proverbial sore thumb). For those of you that wear make-up less is more. Make sure you smell fresh, try to avoid garlic the day before and double check your overall appearance, including your teeth, before you go in.

Now, what are you going to take with you? A copy of your CV. If there are two interviewers take three copies; one for each of them and one for yourself so that you can refer to dates and figures where need be. A pen and a blank sheet of paper (or notebook) so that you can take notes on anything important that you discuss; hopefully you will be writing down the date of your next interview. Tissues if you have a cold or it is hayfever season. Change if their offices are in town and you need to pay and display for your parking. A map or directions of how to get there with the time, name of the interviewer(s) and building you are to meet in if the Company have multiple buildings on one site. If the role asks for you to have certificates in things like first aid then take these too.

The general tip is that you and everything you have with you should look clean and tidy. No dog ears on the edges of your CV. No three things falling on the floor when you try to find a pen. Now research the journey. How long is it going to take, do you know exactly where you are going, have you factored in a buffer of time to allow you some breathing space; better to be early than arrive flustered and out of breath. Not because there is anything wrong with being out of breath, but have you ever tried to focus and concentrate when you're flustered?

So, you are ready. You got there on time and presented yourself at the right reception desk ten minutes early. You are signed in, have your name tag and are sat in reception. Pick up a company brochure; it makes you look interested even if you are thinking about the meeting rather than reading it. Switch off your phone and wait for them to come and get you.... breath... think good thoughts... relax...

Tomorrow we are going to talk about the power of positive intention. See you there.

How to Extend the Battery Life on Your Laptop Computer Without any Extra Power Sources

!: How to Extend the Battery Life on Your Laptop Computer Without any Extra Power Sources

Laptop Computers are great portable offices, and as technology increases and speeds of Computers increase, we are seeing battery life also increase and provide longer usage time with out the need to be "plugged in."

But occasionally, as business travelers, who need to be plugged in, it can be hard to find an outlet and one may be stranded to only use the internal juice in your Computer.

Most laptop batteries last about 2 hours on a full charge, but I found a couple of creative ways to turn those 2 hours into 3 or even 4 hours of pure usage time, with out having to buy more gadgets to fill up or weigh down my briefCase.

Here are two really simple things you can do, to prolong your power on your laptop and get more usage out of your charge.

1. Turn off your wireless transmitter

When you are using your laptop with your wireless transmitter, it is always looking for a signal. So by disabling it, in an area where you cannot get any internet access via wireless, it will actually conserve your battery life.

2. Lower Your Screen Contrast

Most people don't think about this one.

But if you usually have your laptop Monitor set at the highest and brightest contrast, your Computer is working the hardest.

If you simply lower your contrast in half to make it less brighter, you will find you can still see the interfaces on your computer very well.

By doing this in a bright area, you may have trouble if your bightness "whites out" too much.

But in a dark airplane for example, lowering your contrast and brightness in half can actually make it easier to see your screen and make it less bright and even more enjoyable for your passenger sitting next to you, to not have a bright laptop light shining in their face.

Using these two simple powersavers can possible let your laptop power cycle jump from 2 hours to 3 or even 4 hours.

Coach Handbags - Where To Find Them Full Price Or Discounted

I can't think of any women that I have ever known that haven't enjoyed shopping for new handbags. I have enjoyed countless of hours doing nothing but purse shopping with many of my friends or family members. Each experience was different because each individual likes were different. Some wanted handbags with cell phone and make-up compartments, where others just need it to have a separate compartment for loose change and breath mints.

No matter what type of handbag each individual got, they all had one thing in common. They each wanted name brand and at the least expensive price as possible. We all know that getting something on sale is like winning a mini lottery, but to find a name brand handbag like Coach for instance, discounted is like a slice of heaven on earth. I have personally attacked my husband with hugs and kisses when finding Coach handbags at discounted prices.

More than 50 years ago Coach opened its first outlet. They were then family owned and had 6 or 7 people running a few shops. Now there are over 300 Coach stores in the U.S alone and there are plans to open more stores internationally in the coming years. New York City is where the main headquarters resides and is a publicly traded company. Coach(COH), has offices in nineteen countries including Japan. Coach even has outlet stores all throughout the United States.

Coach stores can be found in malls all over. Its merchandise can also be found in upscale department stores such as Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Dillard's and many other stores. Coach handbags and other Coach merchandise can also be found in some boutiques.

Some of the high end designers will have an outlet store that carries items that are discontinued or just overstocked items from their main stores. Some just carry the items that were not up to par to go into the main stores so they are sent to outlets to be sold for discounted prices. These are known as irregulars. They are still genuine items and are as nice as the store items, they sometimes just have small defects to them that are so microscopic that they are not noticeable to the naked eye. Like the stitching is not 'perfect'.

Inspired by the same material baseball gloves are made from, these handbags are versatile and stylish. Since it's conception, the Coach handbag has been produced into a variety of designs, colors, shapes, and styles that have won top pick of millions of women the world over.

Coach handbags are the most sought after handbag. Since Coach is one of the most recognized name brands in the world of fashion, you will find A-list celebrities down to small girls wearing them. Coach offers many other items besides the handbag.

Coach also features women's Accessories including wallets, cosmetic Cases, shoes, watches, bracelets, scarves, belts, hats, sunglasses, key rings, charms and other items. They carry travel luggage, totes, briefCases, planners, baby bags, and other items for travel. They also cater to men and babies as well. For men they have shoes, ties, scarves, sunglasses, carry cases, and other items that are also made for women.

You are sure to find something of your liking when shopping from either a Coach store or outlet for a Coach handbag or whatever you choose. Many of the listed items found in the main stores or department stores can be found in the outlets, so get out there and start shopping! If you can't get out, just point and click and let your fingers do the shopping for you.

To save big bucks on your Coach handbags or Coach anything, try shopping online. The best place to shop for gorgeous Coach handbags ,shoes, and Accessories is online. Ebay and Amazon have everything a gal or guy could want from Coach and you don't even have to move from your favorite spot on the couch.
